Position Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Design vector graphics for print and web
- Design/Maintain internal newsletter
- Maintain Intranet Website
- Design bitmap graphics for web
- Design animations for web
- Contribute to the design of our print material
- Desktop Publishing
Plus:
- Web Design experience is desirable
- Flash experience is desirable
- Ability to use various software packages
- Macromedia Suite
Minimum skills/qualifications for the position include:
- Graphic Design/Fine Arts Major
- Adobe CS experience including Photoshop, Illustrator and PageMaker
- Macromedia Fireworks
- MS Publisher
- Microsoft Office
- Must have basic understanding of Web Design
- Ability to stay motivated and work independently
- Excellent analytical/organizational skills
- Must have a portfolio or samples of work
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Good verbal and written skills
- Must be a graduate student or at least second year undergrad student
This position is an unpaid internship, which will give the right candidate excellent experience. The graphic designer will work with our marketing team developing and implementing new strategies for expanding the growth of our company. The intern will be able to define their skill set and learn new innovative techniques that are needed to succeed in a fast-pace business setting. This experience will prove to be invaluable.
